Before you install Internet Explorer 11, you should:

Internet Explorer 11 Stable for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 now Available to Download. Whether it is simply making your family members’ systems more secure or updating the browser of choice on your own system, the stable release of Internet Explorer 11 is now available to download for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. I am trying to install IE11 on a PC that does not (and can't) have internet access. The PC is running Windows 7, w/SP1 X64. I have tried two different downloads, and even tried IE10, with no luck. To get the standalone package for Internet Explorer 11, search for KB4492872. Before you install this update, you must do either of the following: Install KB4486474 or KB4487025. Install the latest cumulative security update for Internet Explorer 10 or the latest monthly rollup for Windows Server 2012 and Windows Embedded 8 Standard.

Migrate Group Policy Objects. Decide if your Group Policy Objects should migrate to the new version.
Check vendor support for updated functionality. Check whether third-party vendors have new versions or updates to necessary add-ons, apps, or code libraries.
Choose the right version of Internet Explorer. IE11 comes pre-installed on Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 or you can download it for Windows 7 SP1 or Windows Server 2008 R2 with Service Pack 1 (SP1) from the Internet Explorer Downloads site.
Choose how you'll deploy your installation package. Your deployment method should be based on whether you're installing to computers already running Windows, or if you're deploying IE11 as part of a Windows installation.
- Existing computers running Windows. Use System Center R2 2012 System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager, System Center Essentials 2010, Windows Server Updates Services (WSUS), or Microsoft Intune to deploy IE11. So if you have one of these operating systems , these are the steps to download and install IE9 :

To download Internet Explorer 9, click on :

On the File Download dialog box, you can either run the installer or save it on your machine. I will be clicking Run
Download will begins
If you have the User Account Control enabled, then a dialog box will open asking you if you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer, click Yes
The Install Internet Explorer 9 dialog box will open, click on Install
Installing Internet Explorer 9 will start
Once installation is completed, you will be requested to restart your machine to apply the changes.
Once you restart your machine, open Internet Explorer 9 , and you will discover the new interface .

Pined Sites : Now you can pin any website to your task bar, this can be done either by :

You can drag the website icon (mostly on the left side of the website address) to the taskbar.
Or You can drag the website tab itself to the taskbar.
as you can see in the below snapshots , I have pinned ELMAJDAL.NET to my taskbar.

Design and User Interface: The first thing you will notice about IE9, is its new user interface and design. More of the website can been seen now. For example, previously I used to press F11 and go into full mode to see more. Also You can find most command bar functions, like Print or Zoom, when you click the Tools button . Enjoy the new simplified design.

One Box For both Search and Website URL : Instead of having two boxes, one for the website URL and other for the search engines, now IE9 combines the functionality of these two boxes into a single one.As you can see from the below snapshot, the different added Search Engines can be selected by clicking on the Download arrow.

Download Manager : This is an excellent feature finally added to IE. With this feature, you can have all your downloads into a single page, and more over, you can Pause any of your downloads, and then click on Resume to continue where it last stopped. Excellent feature !
